Good God, did you know there is a Daily Show, International edition? We stumbled upon it one night at one of our friends' house (he has cable). It's like the daily show, but with a smaller set and no studio audience. Imagine the daily show if every joke Jon Stewart said was met by deafening silence. That's the Daily Show International edition. It's broadcast on CNN international or something.
On a completely different tack there's this phrase the British use that I really like. Here's some examples:
"I might go for a run today if I can be bothered."
"I wanted to do my homework last night but I just couldn't be bothered."
"Wanna go to dinner?" "I can't be bothered."
It doesn't have the same meaning as it would in the States. It basically is used in reference to something you probably ought to do, but you don't and you don't really care that you have no good reason not to do it. You shrug off the entire guilt complex associated with neglecting to do something you ought to.
Example: I should say more on this blog post but I can't be bothered.
We set this up to keep in touch with people we may not see for awhile. So keep in touch. We'll try to keep this thing interesting and updated frequently.
