Well, the guys left day before yesterday morning and we have since heard they got back to GA safe and sound. We had a good time hanging out with them. We spent two days in Cambridge, with most of the second day spent in the pub or restaurant or movie theatre. This was both necessary because it was raining and expedient because we were looking for some relaxing fun and we found it.
The movie we saw was Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End and we all agreed it simply wasn't worth it to try to follow the plot, but it was fun just the same.
The next day Spencer, Clancy and I went to Hampton Court Palace, but we just saw the amazing gardens. Afterward we met Emer, an Irish relative currently living in London, for a coffee. Then we took the train back up to Cambridge and made it back in time to go to a formal hall at Fitzwilliam College. Earlier that day Matt had found out we were the only four people at the formal! And when we showed up, it seriously was just four places set in a huge cafeteria-style room! We were served three courses, and were then invited to spend the rest of the evening in the bar. Instead we went home and the boys packed up to leave early the next morning.
Now as you can see it is a mad dash to finish exams, packing, moving etc before we leave for the summer.
We set this up to keep in touch with people we may not see for awhile. So keep in touch. We'll try to keep this thing interesting and updated frequently.
