One of the biggest surprises so far has been the number of Goth kids hanging out in Cambridge. Goth kids in Cambridge - who knew? They sit around on the open green spaces in little clusters of aesthetic despair. They seriously dress exactly like kids used to in my high school. Dark mascara, black shirts, baggy black jeans, chains.
I suppose it makes more sense to be Goth here than in Iowa where the most Goth thing around was Hot Topic. In Cambridge there's Gothic Architecture at least.
We set this up to keep in touch with people we may not see for awhile. So keep in touch. We'll try to keep this thing interesting and updated frequently.
